Abstract

The article aims to propose reading gender ideology as an ideological form of denial of recognition and, at the same time, the struggle of the Lgbtq* movement as a non-ideological form of recognition struggle. To support this hypothesis, the author will mainly discuss two processes outlined by Honneth: that of reification and that of the production of ideology as, for the author, they are closely connected by a link of mutual necessity: the latter i produces the former which, in turn, reinforces it.
