Fare luce sugli abusi nelle organizzazioni: il caso della Perizia indipendente sugli abusi sessuali nella Diocesi di Bolzano-Bressanone

Abstract

The subject of the paper is the issue of abuse within organisations. The topic is analysed through the lens of an independent team's report on sexual abuse of minors in the Catholic Diocese of Bolzano-Bressanone. The team had a unique opportunity to access the Diocese's entire archive, including many confidential files. This has never happened in Italy before.
The report's findings are examined at individual, organisational and societal levels, which are interconnected and deeply related, so that a change in one of them influences the others.
