Studies highlight that teacher education promotes the acquisition of knowledge and intervenes in the motivation of the future teacher, important elements to react in a resilient and sustainable manner to the unpredictability of future scenarios. On the basis of these preconditions, the present work aims at validating the FIT-CHOICE scale and detecting the factors that may influence the motivation to undertake the career as a support teacher. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Italian version of the scale showed good psychometric capabilities both for detecting factors that affect motivation to become a teacher and for further comparative investigation with other tools.

ER -
