Abstract

Presentation and edition of 7 letters sent by A. Barigazzi to G. Pasquali in the years 1941-1952, that testify the scientific and human relations between the young scholar and the most famous Italian philologist of his time. In an Appendix the activity of Barigazzi as school-teacher and liberal antifascist during the Second World War is reconstructed thanks to documents and the Diaries of the historian Bianca Ceva.
