Storie e teorie / Histories and theories
This session gathers reflections on the theories and practices of conserving/restoring works of the Modern Movement – in all its chronological and expressive variations – as well as of the contemporary era, in order to highlight elements of continuity or rupture with respect to established orientations and conceptual frameworks. At the same time, it aims to build a bridge between the development of these reflections within the field of conservation and the evolution of architectural historiography from the post-World War II period to the present. The goal is to identify points of contact or divergence on both critical and operational levels, while also bringing to light the specificities tied to distinct cultural and geographical contexts.
I protagonisti / Protagonists
