Terra d’acque: il progetto ambientale del Parco del Ticino piemontese

Abstract

The paper describes studies and researches carried out by the Department B.E.S.T. Building Environment Science and Technology of Politecnico di Milano since 2002 to sustain the writing out of the new Area Plan (Piano d’area) of the Natural Park of Ticino river in Piedmont. In particular the text points out the themes related with the systems of the resources -ecological, environmental, cultural and landscape resources- characterising the Park, the aims, the foreseen outcomes with reference to the planning of environment, territory and landscape of the area, considering the major methodological ways followed and the formal framework of the Plan. The short introduction of the paper points out the actions still open with regards to the environmental project of the Park of Ticino river, for example: the studies for the buffer zone called also prepark area; the analysis to sustain the drawing up of specific masterplan by the Trust for the management of the Park.
