Abstract

Cette chronique conteste la lecture du Sistan-Baloutchistan comme foyer de dissidence ethnique et confessionnelle en Iran. L'analyse révèle une réalité sociale complexe où fragmentation tribale, pluralité ethnique et intégration partielle à la République coexistent, faisant du « problème baloutche » une question politique et économique plutôt qu'un séparatisme religieux.

 

Baluchistan, the Achilles' Heel of the Islamic Republic of Iran?

This column challenges the reading of Sistan-Baluchistan as a hotbed of ethnic and confessional dissidence in Iran. The analysis reveals a complex social reality where tribal fragmentation, ethnic plurality, and partial integration into the Republic coexist, making the "Baluch problem" a political and economic issue rather than religious separatism.
