Abstract

Cet éditorial inscrit la mobilisation des chercheurs et universitaires de 2009 dans le cadre plus large du « national-libéralisme » sarkozien, caractérisé par la soumission de la société française à une rationalité strictement comptable (le New Public Management) doublée d'un autoritarisme croissant. L'auteur montre que le démantèlement de l'Université et du CNRS relève de la même logique que la « tarification à l'activité » à l'hôpital ou l'automatisation de la Justice, appelant les chercheurs à dépasser leurs revendications sectorielles pour alerter les citoyens sur les enjeux globaux de cette politique.
