Abstract

This paper fits within the framework of the Spoke 10 “Population Health” research programme of the NRRP “THE” – Tuscany Health Ecosystem project. The aim is to develop integrated design models to mitigate environmental stresses that negatively impact human health, with a focus on fragile territories and vulnerable populations. In line with European strategies (Green Deal, Agenda 2030), the project takes a cross-sectoral view of the environmental determinants of health by integrating participatory approaches to increase risk perception and the active involvement of communities in analysis and prevention processes by promoting socio-environmental awareness and resilience.
