Marco Introini majored in Architecture at the Polytechnic University in Milan, Italy.Documentary photo maker of landscape and architecture, he is a lecturer of Architecture Photography and Representation at the Polytechnic in Milan.In 2006 his work was published in the catalogue – curated by Franco Purini - of the Italian Pavilion for the 10th Venice Architecture Biennale.He has been selected among the twenty most influential photographers of architecture of the last ten years and has been interviewed as such in Letizia Gagliardi’s book “La Misura dello Spazio” (Rome 2010).In 2015 he worked at the documentation of architecture in Lombardy (Italy) dating from World War II to nowadays by appointment of Regione Lombardia and MIBACT. He was also selected and invited by OIGO to take part into the photographic campaign on Regione Calabria (Southern Italy), The Third Island.His project Milano Illuminista, which is still in work in progress, was selected in 2015 by Fondo Malerba for Photography.In 2016 his work was displayed by MAGA Museum in the personal exhibition “Portraits of Monuments”; in the same year the project ‘Warm Modernity_Indian Paradigm”was exhibited within the 21st Triennale in Milan and won the RedDot Award 2016 alongside with the book (curated by MDA).Marco is currently working at the project Imago Urbis, architecture in Mantua from the 12th to the 20th century, aimed at both documenting the present condition of the urban architecture and identifying the historical iconic representation of the town itself.
