Abstract

In recent years, Thermal Active Surface systems have taken on key importance on the scientific landscape due to the possibility they offer because of their strong capacity for high-performance responses within buildings from the architectural, physical/technical, and economic standpoints. However, the architectural integration of these systems was not completely explored in urban regeneration in the Mediterranean area until the evolution of traditional materials on the one hand, and the introduction of nano-materials on the other, made new development scenarios possible.
