The editorial board of Acta Herpetologica, our cherished and esteemed journal, is seeking new assistant editors. If you're interested in collaborating, please submit your application by July 31st, 2024.

We're looking for individuals who meet the following requirements:

• Strong motivation (the work can be challenging and sometimes tedious, but it's essential)
• Proficiency in English
• Previous editorial experience (either as an editor or reviewer)
• A solid scientific background in herpetology
• Membership in the Societas Herpetologica Italica for the duration of the mandate (though not necessarily at the time of application)

Candidates should email the Digital Communication Strategist (dcs.ah.contact@gmail.com) a concise CV (maximum 1 sheet) along with a brief list of publications (maximum 1 sheet), emphasizing the above criteria.

The appointment of new editors will be announced during the upcoming meeting of the Societas Herpetologica Italica, scheduled during the national congress in September 2024.
