Abstract
The experience took place at the Institute of Secondary Education Avogadro in Turin, during the school year 2014/2015. A group of second year students was involved during the hours of English language, for a semester, into the European project PETALL - Pan European Task - Based Activities for Language Learning - http://petallproject.wix.com/petall. The project aimed at stimulating language production in Foreign Language English; promoting the use of ICT; promoting CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning; learning English according to the TBTL (Task Based Language Teaching) approach. The activity took place mainly in the classroom equipped with an interactive whiteboard, in working groups, with in-depth and individual research on the web at home.
