Abstract

L’articolo presenta una sintesi dei risultati della terza survey realizzata in Italia da EU Kids Online negli ultimi mesi del 2017 concentrandosi sulla pluralità delle esperienze online potenzialmente rischiose per il benessere complessivo dei giovani utenti della Rete. «Oltre il cyberbullismo» emergono così nuovi e –finora– meno indagati rischi, come quelli connessi al fenomeno dello sharenting. Attraverso una riflessione sull’esperienza di EU Kids Online, l’agenda della ricerca viene, inoltre, messa in relazione con i discorsi pubblici e con le policy su questi temi, evidenziando l’importanza dei modelli teorici che fanno da frame alla ricerca e che ne interpretano i dati.

The article presents a summary of the results of the third survey carried out in Italy by EU Kids Online in the last months of 2017, focusing on the plurality of potentially risky online experiences for the overall well-being of young users of the Net. «Beyond cyberbullying», new – and so far less investigated risksemerge, such as those connected to the phenomenon of sharenting. Through a reflection on the experience of EU Kids Online, the research agenda is also linked to public discourses and policies on these issues, highlighting the relevance of the theoretical models that frame the research and interpret the data.
