La quinta Anacreontea di Giovanni di Gaza: una lezione sul mito

Abstract

This paper discusses the pedagogical side of the 5^th Anacreontic of John of Gaza and the role of the Grammaticus in the Neoplatonic School. Through some key allusions to Platon, and a language highly sophisticated, the poet invites his pupils to a correct understanding of the myths and at the same time promotes a poetics based on the myth as paignion.
