Abstract

At line 1, γλυκύς must be referred to an implicit ἐγώ. At line 5, read ἔδωκ᾿· εἰ βλητὸς ὁ δαίμων (“I am a mortal, yet declare the god guilty: I will punish him, provided one can do that”). The last sentence, at line 6, appears to be an interrogative clause.
