Abstract

The paper focuses on the hypothesis that in the literary fiction of the Satyricon Trimalchio’s dinner could take place during the Liberalia (March 17th) and that in triduo die festa (Sat. 45.4) could refer to the imminent Quinquatrus, the feast of Minerva (March 19th-23th).
