Abstract

In Phlegon of Tralles, De Mirabilibus 2.6 (lines 142-146 Stramaglia), the text of the manu­script is sound and no conjectural emendation appears to be necessary. The passage does not deal with the infernal gods, but with the men of the assembly who can (and have to) decide for the troubles that happen on the earth.
