Abstract
The “Memoirs of Musonius”, written by an unknown Lucius, survive only in a handful of fragments handed down by Stobaeus. This Lucius seems to have been a follower and an imitator of Xenophon and his Memorables of Socrates. With a similar work attributed to Pollio, Lucius’ work might have formed a “corpus Musonianum”, which possibly served as a source for Stobaeus.
