Abstract

Detailed analysis of the beginning of Plutarch’s unfinished treatise An vitiositas ad infelicitatem sufficiat, in the light of his usual way to quote Greek tragedy. Phaethon and Bellerophon are blamed for their recklessness, as elsewhere in Plutarch. At the end of the passage, retain the transmitted ἄλυποι.
