Abstract

  1. Schetter’s arguments against the genuineness of the passage on incestuous dreams at Ausonius Ephem. 7.10-16 are not convincing: if this passage is transposed after line 21, the text will prove sound. Prudentius, Cathem. 6.41-56 is a response to this very passage.
