Aristotelismo ed antistoicismo nel De virtute morali di Plutarco

Abstract

In ch. VI of his work De virtute morali, Plutarch does not blame the Aristotelian concept of mesotes, but criticizes a Stoic tendency to interpret the Nicomachean Ethics debasing the originality and importance of the notion of mesotes as a virtue.
