Abstract

The wide accepted correction Ἀλκμᾶνι for Ἀλκμαίωνι in ch. 88 of the Excerpta de rebus mirabilibus by Ps.-Antigonus Carystius is wrong. The passage is to be referred to Alcmaeon of Croton and is to be listed among the testimonia of that physician and philosopher.
