Abstract

Further arguments in favor of the variant reading lacer admissos at Ovid. Epist. 1.36. For such details, Ovid draws not on Homer but on tragedy: the same holds true for Cons. Liv. 319 f., though its author surely had the Ovidian passage in mind.
