Abstract

On the episodes of Sthenelus’ tomb (2.911ff.) and Deimachos’ sons (2.955ff.), within the frame of Apollonius’ aim to create multiple links between Heracles’ and Jason’s deeds – a narrative strategy that is best understood in the light of the Hellenistic debate about the good king.
