Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC-BY-4.0) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication.
The widespread interpretation of the frieze of St. Omobono’s (now in the Capitoline Museum and in the Kunsthistorisches Museum of Vienna) as part of a victory monument of Sulla proves ill-founded. The frieze was rather connected with a ceremony in honor of the gods as saviors of the Roman state and authors of its victories.
