Abstract
The text found at the end of the 19th century in the ms. Y III 19 of the library of El Escorial and attributed to Clement of Alexandria is also included in the Laurentianus Conv. Soppr. This is actually the paraphrase of a poem by Gregory of Nazianzus: Praecepta de tranquillitate animi et virtutibus. This paper presents its mss. tradition, text and critical apparatus.
