La revisione delle <i>Nuvole</i> di Aristofane

Abstract

On the basis of Argumenta I and II Dover – and in view of the difficulties of representing the Clouds as transmitted to us with only three actors – the author seeks to define the extent of the changements in the preserved text (written 418 or 417 BC) as compared with the text of the first performance (423 BC). The author also  proposes an appropriate placing of frr. 392, 393, 394, 395 K.-A. within the context of the lost drama.
