Abstract

The text of Suda α 2735 A. γέγονε δὲ κατὰ τhν; ϙγ ́  ̓Ολυμπιάδα is to be emended in κατὰ τhν; ϙη ́  ̓Ολυμπιάδα: this is consistent with other ancient sources and does not require placing the beginning of Antiphanes’ career later than 388/7-385/4 a.C.
