Abstract

A newly established stemma codicum of Diogenes’ Lives shows that future editors should rely on the oldest manuscripts (Napoli, Bibl. Nazionale, III. B. 29; Paris, BNF, gr. 1759; Firenze, Bibl. Medicea Laurenziana, plut. 69,13; Città del Vaticano, BAV, Vat. gr. 96), and on the indirect tradition as well.
