Alcune osservazioni sul testo di Platone

Abstract

A systematic survey of the use of (oujk) e[moige as an answer (“Yes” or “No”) in Plato suggests that this formula requires the presence of the pronoun soi in the preceding question. Such a soi is missing at Theaet. 152e 8, 189d 4 and Alc. 117a 11 and should probably be restored. A new emendation and a new distribution of the words between the speakers are also suggested respectively at Resp. 7, 535c 2 and Soph. 229b 1 - d 1.
