Abstract

At the beginning of the twelfth book of Nonnus’ Dionysiaca, the oracle concerning the grape-harvest, carved on the cup of Ganymedes, is based on some similar oracles included in Porphyry’s Theosophia ex oraculis haurienda and in the Theosophia Tubingensis.
