Abstract
In Nep. Cim. 3.1: Nam testarum suffragiis, [quod illi ὀστρακισμόν vocant], decem annorum exilio multatus the subordinate clause is an interpolation: Nepos never uses words in Greek, but he always adopts semantic displacement; the unusual structure of the relative clause has no parallels in Nepos’ style. For the same reasons there is an interpolation also in Con. 3.3: venerari te regem [quod προσκύνεσις illi vocant].
