Abstract

The following article aims to analyze four field researches related to the use of Digital Storytelling (DST) methodology in teaching practices and in the initial training of teachers an inclusive perspective. These are the studies carried out by researchers Baschiera and Banzato of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Lazzari of the University of Bergamo, and Petrucco of the University of Padua. The results of the aforementioned researches highlight the potential of the methodology and its applicability with pupils with Special Educational Needs and the effectiveness of the method for the acquisition of digital skills in the initial training of teachers for the construction of innovative learning environments in Media Education and Special Education.
