PASSATO, PRESENTE E FUTURO DI UN GRUPPO – CLASSE DELL’ULTIMO ANNO DELLA SCUOLA PRIMARIA

Abstract

Passato, presente e futuro di un gruppo-classe all’ultimo anno di scuola primaria è un progetto di sperimentazione pedagogica di Media Education che è stato realizzato con studenti frequentanti l’ultimo anno di una scuola primaria situata nella periferia a Nord-Ovest di Firenze. Le attività, organizzate a piccoli gruppi e in modalità cooperative learning, si possono così riassumere: scrittura originale di testi in dialetto fiorentino e lingua inglese; acquisizione di basi musicali Rap da piattaforme con contenuti common creative; utilizzo di software per la registrazione canora dei brani Rap e per l’inserimento di tracce sulle basi musicali, sceneggiatura, recitazione e utilizzo telecamera per riprese video; impiego di software per il montaggio dei videoclip dei brani musicali. Lo stretto legame tra emozione e memoria ha stimolato negli allievi la motivazione ad apprendere e le attività mediaeducative proposte hanno cercato di favorire l’acquisizione di competenze di tipo trasversale.

Past, present and future of a group-class in the last year of primary school is an experimental project of Media Education that was carried out with students attending the last year of a primary school located on the north-west outskirts of Florence. The activities, organized in small groups and in cooperative learning mode, can be summarized as follows: original writing of texts in Florentine dialect and English language, download of Rap music bases from platforms with common creative content; use of software for recording Rap songs and inserting them in the musical bases, screenplay, acting and camera use for video footage, use of software for editing music videos. The close link between emotion and memory has stimulated children’s motivation to learn and the media education activities proposed have sought to encourage the learning of transversal skills.
