Roversi verde. Il paesaggio in Dopo Campoformio

Abstract

The article analyzes Dopo Campoformio from an ecocritical perspective, focusing on the theme of the landscape. Looking one by one at the poems that make up the collection, the characteristics and functions of the landscapes are examined, revealing how the dialogue between poetry and ecology is not only very frequent, but fundamental in this work. Roversi’s harsh critique of incipient neocapitalism is also an ecological denunciation, as he witnesses firsthand the terrible consequences of forced modernization, which destroys identity-defining landscapes and causes environmental disasters.
