Abstract
The article analyzes Pasolini’s activity as a radio author in the 1950s, framing it within the context of the post-war cultural industry. Through archival research in the author’s collection at the Gabinetto G.P. Vieusseux in Florence and the Rai Teche archives, Pasolini’s radio projects are reconstructed, focusing on the 1953 inquiry La poesia popolare come cultura di massa. The study demonstrates how radio was an essential stage for understanding Pasolini’s critique of modernization and his ability to blend diverse languages and codes.
