A recent study published in Advances in Horticultural Science (Vol. 39 No. 3, September 2025) "Digital and multivariate analysis of lettuce seed vigor: Impact of hydropriming on physiological potential" by Trjillo et al., demonstrates how advanced digital imaging combined with multivariate analysis offers a more precise and objective way to evaluate lettuce seed vigor, revealing the effects of hydropriming on seed quality and improving seed-lot classification.

A recent peer-reviewed article in Advances in Horticultural Science (Vol. 39 No. 1, May 2025) presents groundbreaking results on the effects of continuous light exposure on sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) in controlled environments. The research, conducted by M. Puccinelli, R. Maggini, A. Pardossi, L. Incrocci, reveals that exposing basil plants to non-stop lighting significantly improves leaf morphology, color uniformity, and essential oil concentration, without negatively impacting overall growth.
