Manuscript Template

1 - The manuscript for the publication must be sent exclusively in OpenOffice, RTF, or Microsoft Word format (e.g. .doc or .docx). The manuscript must be formatted according to the template at the bottom of these guidelines. The author can use the template by writing directly or he can copy and paste from other text files. The contributions, subdivided into paragraphs and sub-paragraphs, numbered progressively according to ordinal classification, must not normally exceed 25 folders, including abstract, references list, tables, and images.

Images, tables and mathematical equations must be reported at the end of the manuscript.

The authors have to indicate the position in which images, tables and mathematical equations must be inserted, including the related captions written in the same format as the body of the text.

The tables require the Word or Excel format.

The mathematical equations have to be numbered progressively in square brackets on the right side.

Any references to authors must be deleted to ensure anonymity during the review process. Aestimum publishes works in English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these), except for those submitted for the “Agricultural law” section, which may also be written in Italian.

The Authors must upload a title page. The title page includes the title of the manuscript; the author names and affiliations indicating the corresponding author.

2 - The manuscripts submitted will be sent to a minimum of two anonymous reviewers, selected by the Aestimum Editorial Board. The authors could insert in the “Comments for the Editor” box the name and email of potential reviewers who are appropriate for the paper.

3 - The footnotes in the text must contain explanations and not bibliographic references and be inserted at the bottom of the page. The numbering of the notes must be progressive.

4 - All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references following the text of the manuscript. In the text refer to the author's name (without initial) and year of publication with the number of pages (in the case of citations), according to the following examples:

(Serpieri, 1950, p.12)
