She is an architect, PhD and Researcher in Technology for Architecture at the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna since 2018.
She teaches Design for Sustainability and Integrated Technologies in the Second cycle degree programme (LM) in Advanced Design in Bologna.
She is Member of SiTdA.
She is associated partner of Ipostudio Architetti srl in Florence since 2014. She worked at Ipostudio as architect (1999-2018) and she was one of its technical managers (2010-2018).
She collaborated on research projects carried out by the Department of Architecture at the University of Ferrara, the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence, the Consorzio Futuro in Ricerca in Ferrara and Becquerel Electric srl in Reggio Emilia.
She has been involved in several EU research projects under FP5, FP6, FP7 and H2020: Brite Euram 4670, Ariadne, IFD, EBOB, SuRE-FIT, PROFICIENT, STREAMER, INSITER, INCEPTION, P2ENDURE and ROCK.
She is specialized in EC research project and financial management. Her main field of research is related to the building design, building process, accessibility, healthcare facilities, BIM, Cultural Heritage and energy efficiency.
She is author of several national and international articles about retrofitting technologies for existing buildings, sustainable design, innovative construction systems and Cultural Heritage.
