Abstract

Since the image of Munich and its public  spaces  it  is  usually  associated  with  its famous green structures, this article looks  into  the  transformation  of  the urban public sphere within the last 50 years, in order to underline the features and actions of the urban politics, thus adding insights into the contemporary debate (strategic   soil   management) (Alberti et al., 2019; Garau et al., 2015). In   Munich,   with   all   its   peripheral  nodes inside and outside the city centre,  public  pace  is  seen  as  a  network  of  spatial  “voids”,  which  connect  the  urban    with    the    sub-urban    fabric.   Public  space  is  strongly  related  to  the  Policies   regarding   the   Management  of  “ground”  and  achievement  of  “sustainability”.
