Author Guidelines
Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to us. These instructions will ensure we have everything required so your paper can move through peer review, production and publication smoothly. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as doing so will ensure your paper matches the journal's requirements.
At the end of the preparation of the text, figures, table and other possible materials, please upload also a PDF containing all the material together for reviewing purpose. Please add also a cover letter explaining briefly the most important point contained in Your article and 3-5 names of possible reviewers, possibly not directly related by personal or scientific collaboration to the author(s).
Please check our Publication Fees here.
Preparing Your Paper
Structure
Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list).
Word Limits
Please consider that for papers over 12 pages there is a surplus of 10 euros per additional page.
Style Guidelines
Please refer to these quick style guidelines when preparing your paper, rather than any published articles or a sample copy.
Any spelling style is acceptable so long as it is consistent within the manuscript.
Please use double quotation marks, except where “a quotation is ‘within’ a quotation”. Please note that long quotations should be indented without quotation marks.
Papers may be submitted in Word or PDF formats. Figures should be saved separately from the text.
References
Please use this reference guide when preparing your paper.
An EndNote output style is also available to assist you.
