Fabio G. Santeramo is Associate Professor at the University of Foggia. He received his doctorate in Agricultural Economics at the University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) and, in 2016, he completed his PhD in Economics at the North Carolina State University (USA). His research focuses on Agricultural Economics and Policy via quantitative and econometrics methods. Previous works have focused on Agricultural Trade Policies, Food Security, Risk Management, and Price Analysis. Fabio Santeramo has served as consultant for International Institutions and Italian National Institutions. He is currently member of the IATRC.

Meri Raggi is Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna. She obtained the PhD in “Statistical methodology for scientific research”. Her main research interest are: agricultural policy evaluation, environmental evaluation, economics of agri-environmental schemes, economics of water use in agriculture, farm management. Her expertise includes: sample theory, database and statistical analysis, data integration, multivariate analysis, primary data collection, and modelling methodologies.

Fabio Bartolini is an Associate Professor at the University of Pisa. He hold a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Policy obtained from the University of Bologna. He participated to more than 10 EU-funded projects related to various topics, such as policies (WADI FP5, ITAES FP6, CAP-IRE FP7, SAPRD FP7, Factor Markets FP7), impact of research and innovation (IMPRESA FP7), and food security and supply chains (TRANSMANGO FP7, SUFISA H2020). He is currently working in 3 EU funded H2020 projects about the socio-economic impacts of digitisation (DESIRA), to the design of agri-environmental policy (CONSOLE), resilience of mixed farming system and agroecology (AGROMIX).

Simone Cerroni is an Assistant Professor at the University of Trento and Queen’s University Belfast. His research focuses on decision making under risk and uncertainty with particular focus on agri-food applications. Most of his research explores consumer and farmer behaviour using experimental economic methods. His research outputs have been published in the Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Food Policy, Agricultural Economics and other journals in the agri-food sector.

Davide Menozzi is an Associate Professor at the University of Parma. He has been involved in several national and EU research projects since 2000, focusing on the analysis of consumer behaviour and preferences, the economic analysis of food safety and food quality schemes with a supply chain perspective, and the evaluation of the socio-economic sustainability of dietary behaviours. He is an active member in various scientific societies including the Italian Association of Agricultural and Applied Economists (AIEAA) and the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE).

Valentina Raimondi is an Associate Professor at the University of Milano. Her major research interests are on International trade of agri-food sector (competitiveness and sustainability; trade effects of preferential trade agreements; trade effects of non-tariff barriers; quality, standards and food trade), and agricultural policies of the European Union (economic impact assessment of the CAP; adoption and impact of rural development policies).

Donato Romano is Full Professor at the University of Florence, where he is also the Director of the PhD Program in Development Economics and Local Systems – DELoS. He has been President of the Italian Association of Agricultural and Applied Economists (AIEAA) and is currently member of the board of the European Association of Agricultural Association (EAAE). His research interests are development microeconomics with a focus on agricultural households in LDCs, food and nutrition security analysis, agricultural and rural development in LDCs.

Emilia Lamonaca is a research fellow at the University of Foggia, where she received her doctorate in 2017. Her main research interests include price analysis, determinants of international trade as well as the role of trade policy and economic geography on trade. She has a special interest in applied econometrics and has been recently focused on the methodological issues of the gravity model of trade.
