Through typological parallels with the Romance languages, the Author supports the thesis that there are not sufficient phonological reasons to define Old Church Slavonic as ‘Old Bulgarian’. He prefers to use the term ‘Greek-Slavic’ because of the strict adherence of this language to the Greek model.
