Abstract

In the construction sector among the reasons that raise the idea of a crisis of the project, some related to technical information and its impacts on the construction’s quality.
The certainties of the rules of art, lapse in comparison with the new role taken on by production in the decision-making and construction processes and in particular in the relationship designer-enterprise. Any technical solution, it is now difficult to define «conform», because of information sources that instruct it, expected performances, and results at architectural, technical and material level. By increasing uncertainty and risk error. Starting from this background, the paper describes the research activities that take place at DASTEC in Reggio Calabria and that represent some potential solutions.
