The culture of designing and the culture of doing. The digital approach as the innovative dimension of process

Abstract

Due to the challenges and opportunities offered by the digital culture, it is necessary to study the role of the new information tools to understand how some of the scenarios belonging to the design practices and industrial and building culture have changed. This paper deals with the issues about the design constructability, with reference to the use of digital methodologies that encouraging collaborations, control and previsions, seem to shorten significantly the distances between design and construction.
