Abstract

Architecture going back to meeting real needs entails social commitment, responding to the housing emergency caused by phenomena such as increasing urbanization and migration, environmental issues; furthermore through use of modest resources which induce to reflexions on the context within which a project may translate itself into reality. A context which has seen the building sector come out of the economic crisis, starting with industry 4.0, using new tools and techniques: digitization processes, prefabrication, as well as a new Procurement Code. A brief summary of the technical results and innovations of process and product achieved through a research between the PDTA Department of the Sapienza of Rome and a family business type enterprise operating also in the earthquake struck areas.
