Abstract

The paper would propose a tentative analytical framework concerning asymmetric information in appraisal process. The complexity of resource, goods or services play a relevant role in structuring the appraisal process and influences the methodological approach to be chosen. Thus the paper focuses the reduced informational role of market prices in the case of high complexity degree. The idea of appraisal models is discussed in the context of the institutional analysis of the market and a simple example is proposed. Some suggestions from game theory give the opportunity to simulate data and to develop the usual appraisal comparison.
