First “Mario Caciagli” Prize QOE-IJES / 1° Premio “Mario Caciagli” QOE-IJES

The 1st “Mario Caciagli” Prize for the best article published in the Italian Journal of Electoral Studies (QOE-IJES) in the previous two years was awarded during the Workshop of the Italian Society of Electoral Studies (SISE) A vote for Europe? The European elections 2024, held on 5 July 2024 at the University of Florence.

The winner for 2022-2023 was Federico Trastulli, for his article "Two is Better than One? Testing a Deductive MARPOR-based Left-Right Index on Western Europe (1999-2019)".

The international evaluation committee also considered worth of mention the articles by Mirko Crulli, "Vote metropolitanization after the transnational cleavage and the suburbanization of radical right populism: the cases of London and Rome";

and by Nicola Maggini, "New challenges for representative democracy: the changing political space in Western Europe".

In occasione del Seminario della Società Italiana di Studi Elettorali (SISE) “Un voto per l’Europa? Le elezioni europee 2024” del 5 luglio 2024 presso l’Università degli Studi di Firenze, è stato conferito il 1° Premio “Mario Caciagli” per il miglior articolo pubblicato in QOE-IJES nel precedente biennio. Il vincitore per il biennio 2022-2023 è Federico Trastulli, per il suo articolo “Two is Better than One? Testing a Deductive MARPOR-based Left-Right Index on Western Europe (1999-2019)”.
