Social and cultural transformations that characterize our time mark the relationship between local educational services and families irremediably, so much so that it is more necessary than ever to reflect on new communication strategies aimed at enhancing the relationship between the different educational agencies, in particular the relationship between parents and educational services for childhood. Hence, it is also necessary to reflect on the concept of “care”, recognizing its political value and, therefore, the emancipatory character of each educational action aimed at recognizing the other and his/her ability to be the main interpreter of his/her own needs.
